A Study for love, death and patience oversteps the line of work of a traditional performer, annexing other disciplines that trigger reality within a scene, and occupying the gap of what we deem unrepresentable in a precise manner. This story of love, death and resurrection is a structure or voyage that Juan Diego Calzada assumes with inherent solitude on stage. A battle that never ends.
A Study for love, death and patience collides with the contemporary proposals in art, and it involves us in a war through the real and the imaginary, proposing a series of questions that sublimates our concept of love, death and paradise: Who should come and judge the living?, Which is the path towards my death?, Who with fill my soul with love again?
